For the last 2 years I’ve been talking about the intense planetary energy that we have now started to experience, beginning in July 2010 and lasting throughout 2011. Due to this ‘heavier’ cosmic energy many of you may experience a feeling of tiredness, lack of motivation or a desire to just ‘disconnect’. I would encourage you not to force yourself to do activities when you’re feeling tired, honor your mind, body, spirit and rest. Now is a time to simplify your life and that would start with a good evaluation of where you are, and where you’re headed. What’s working for you? What isn’t? What enriches your life? Gives you the physical, mental and emotional support that you are desiring? Do activities that raise your optimism and connect you to your spiritual core.
Depending on your answers to the questions above, you’ll either be prompted to build and solidify what’s working for you ( and that can range from relationship to career) or, you will seek to take the steps needed to create the life you desire. We are in a dynamic window of time, when that which you focus on or conceptualize can manifest rapidly. So be mindful of your thoughts it’s like instant karma out there. In other words, be careful what you ask for because you’re sure to get it. I can hear some of you saying well, I want to win the lottery....do you buy the tickets? Examine your true inner beliefs, to see if you really believe that which you’re aspiring too is a real possibility. And then take small steps that move you in the direction of your goal. Much seeded now will start to manifest February- April of 2011.
One caution about this planetary lineup, it can be explosive... a seemingly stable situation or calm person goes ballistic. The daily news has had both tragic and comedic examples of this. In your own life avoid people & circumstances that are pressure cookers waiting to blow. The planetary picture indicates situations that have been building for some time, now they’re primed just waiting for the trigger. People that have been ‘putting up and shutting up’ to keep peace are prime examples of a meltdown ready to occur. Be extra cautious when Saturn squares the last lunar eclipse and Pluto 8/15-9/4***), especially if you have planets in the early degrees of the Cardinals, Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn. Unfortunately, I see this manifesting as major standoffs & power struggles in our capital, which means nothing is getting done.
Later July-early August both Venus (love, money, art) & Mars (energy, action, military)joined with Saturn ( duty, responsibility, restrictions) in the air sign Libra. This trio is prompting everyone to evaluate their relationships for the next year (especially intimate ones). What are you giving? Receiving? Is there reciprocity? Establishing new guidelines and boundaries will have some of you strengthening relationships. Others, may decide it’s more trouble than it’s worth and be moving on. Internationally this is a major season for treaties some will hold, others break. Venus & Mars join together in Libra from 8/12 til the end of the month. I’d expect to see many partnerships both emotional and commercial formed now(some will not last because of the ME rx). Busy year upcoming for those of you in the wedding and the legal industries. This combo will be very helpful for those of you born in the first week of the air signs Gemini, Libra & Aquarius.
Mercury(contracts, vehicles, transportation, communication) is retrograde (rx) 8/20 til 9/12 in earthy Virgo. Long time readers will know this is not the time to move forward with new projects, or purchase equipment & vehicles. It’s Murphy’s Law, better to wait until after 9/12. The theme with the rx is after it goes direct you change your mind. ME rx is good for redoing the old, revisiting, resolving old matters & meditative activities. The exception seems to be for those of you born with ME rx in your natal chart, you could be at the top of your game mentally now. Neptune joins the full moon on 8/24, very psychic energy!! Pay attention to dreams. Not the most practical of astrological days, so avoid important decisions.
September 8, the new moon falls in Virgo making the following 2 weeks a good time to establish new goals related to fitness, wellness & for new wardrobes. Both Venus 9/8 & Mars 9/14 enter Scorpio in September, stimulating a more passionate theme in relationships. Good for romance just don’t allow jealousy and possessiveness to spoil the fun. The full moon on 9/23 falls on the Cardinal axis of the world triggering major world events. Good day to stay home. International hot spots stimulated by the explosive Cardinal cross during August & September: India, Pakistan, China, Pacific Ocean, Western Coast of Africa, Spain, UK, Israel, Jordan, Yemen, Ethiopia, Somalia ( watery straits in same areas), Midwest US, Mississippi River down through the Gulf into Yucatan.
